Midnight in New York

Don't you love going through other people's closet? Especially your mom or grandma's? I do it on the reg, love all the bizarre items I could find in their wardrobe, like this awesome fur jacket!
I was bored one afternoon so I called my friend Risa to come over and do an impromptu photo shoot! 

I took it with my Canon 1100D SLR and use a white wall at my house as the background. My inspiration for this look is Courtney Love: Smokey eyes, oversize fur jacket, bustier/bra, fishnet stockings.

Boyfriend's Shirt

Androgynous is a massive trend right now in the fashion scene. I don't normaly wear pants or anything that's too boyish- I think I've left my tomboy-ness back in high school. As soon as school was over my wardrobe is pretty much overrulled by pretty dresses and skirts. However lately I'm loving the button up boys'shirt look.

I found this top at Cotton On on sale for $15, it was Men's size M, but thankfully it doesn't look too baggy as I'm normally women's XS!

I wore a black mini skirt from Dotti to add a more feminine touch. The bangles are mostly from Bali and the Bag is from Forever New. Indie fashion is very much in at the moment, so I thought to go all out and throw in a Vintage style Ray Ban.
