How to: Dress like Jess from New Girl

It seems like new shows that popped up on our TV screens are either vampire dramas or comedies. I'm a big fan of TV shows- my perfect day would be laying on my bed and watch back-to-back episodes all day.. ahh bliss! But of all the new shows that premiered in 2011- New Girl is definitely one of my favourite! In case you haven't seen it, the show pretty much revolves around Indie golden girl Zooey Deschanel's character Jess, a quirky, bubbly girl in her late 20s who is trying to get over her breakup with her boyfriend after he cheats on her. She eventually finds a new place to stay when she moves in with three guys: Nick, a bartender; Schmidt, a white-collar worker and modern-day casanova; and Winston, a former basketball player. It's definitely a love-hate relationship with the rest of the cast, but of course they're all hillarious, especially Schimdt with his bizzare antics.

This is the kind of show that gets you super obessed and would get you all jiggy when they release a new episode! (yes I ocassionaly do a happy dance..) And another thing that I hate to love about this show is the theme song! ♫ ♪ Who's that girl.... Who's that girl... It's Jess! ♫ ♪

It's ridiculously catchy, and I guarantee you- second time of watching the show you'll know the jingle by heart!

What I love most about this show is Jess' quirkiness and her love for all things vintage and cute! She adores bright colours, cute skirts, bows, ribbons and pretty much girly things! I absolutely adore her preppy, school girl look! which is ironic 'cause she's a teacher..

Look it's Betsey Johnson!

No one adores pink more than the fabulous and funky Betsey Johnson. Her designs are known to be whimsical and 'over the top'. But hey there's no limit to creativity right? I can't get enough of her designs, they're so adorable, feminine, cute, gorgeous, seriously an 'aww' factor! It reminds me of my childhood, raiding my mother's closet, mix and matching her old school party dresses with pink lipstick and bright red cheeks... ahh the joy of being young and carefree... Betsey's collection is the definite definition of joy.. it's so soft, colorful and playful... simply pretty :)

The icing on cake is her gorgeous and stylish apartment! Seriously can this girl get anymore awesome? She lives in Barbie house that's covered in pink from top to bottom! *girly squeals* Perhaps it's not everyone's cup of tea, but honestly I have not met a girl who wasn't obsessed with Barbie growing up.. and Betsey Johnson is my new Barbie. Love love her!
