Pretty in Pink

If you want to add a pop of colour to your fresh-faced makeup look, a bold lip is the way to go. Hot pink lips are ultra feminine and super bold.  I’ve been digging the colour fuchsia as a lip colour, it’s all about being big, bright and bold which will fit perfectly into summer 2011 as colour blocking and playful colours are the latest trend.

I think fuchsia is perfect for make-up balance. It’s a fun, flirty alternative to the classic red lip. Celebs like Emma Stone, Kat Graham, Gwen Stefani, Lauren Conrad, Rihanna, and Janelle Monae have been pinking out their pouts and they are looking pretty in pink. Not overly glossy, but creamy and healthy looking lips are what makes this look.

Tip 1: Definitely try it with neutral eye make-up, flirty lashes and neutral cheeks and then fuchsia lips.

Tip 2: Try the winged black liner as it adds a bit of an edge to an otherwise Barbie inspired look.

It’s a fab addition to any summer outfit , making it more interesting and highlighting your most sensual feature-your lips. Fuchsia is definitely summers go-to lipstick shade.
