Fairytale Engagement Photo shoot PART 1

Photography | Teneil Kable
MUA | Fitria Adi
Styling | Yours truly
Wardrobe | Natalie Rolt + ASOS

"Let's pretend for one night the world forgot we exist
Let's let the silence make up for all the words missed
Let's keep the secrets we share hidden in each kiss
Let's let each stare be the lifelong conversation it is
Let's let the moon be our disco ball and the grass our dance floor
The stars our audience, gazing at us as they clap for
The way you twirl as I whisper in your ear
I love you's that act as the music only you and I can hear
Let's imagine this night was created because we were
dancing to the definition of "she's a keeper"

Everytime I see these pics it always make me feel all mushy inside, I'm so glad we got to do a pre wedding/engagement shoot before the big day! And thank God M didn't complain even once!! If you're engaged or getting married soon I highly recommend to get engagement photos done coz' sometimes the BIG day could get too hectic and emotional haha! We didn't end up getting much photos done on our wedding day, due to time constraint and drama here and there. At least we got these photos and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!

Being the hopeless romantic that I am- I love everything princess and fairytale. I've decided that I want to incorporate those ideas into my engagement shoot. Majority of the inspiration drew from Taylor Swift Enchanted video clip and Disney movies haha! For this look I wanted to feel like a princess in a big white gown and after much research and sourcing I finally found the perfect dress for it! This amazing dress is handmade by Perth rising designer Natalie Rolt. Everything about this dress is truly remarkable, the details, feathers, tulle, everything!! So much thoughts and effort were put into it, there's no doubt that she'll make it far in the industry. The stunning photos were taken by one of my favourite photographer ever- Teneil Kable! She's the sweetest and loveliest person you could ever meet! We hit it right off and I'm so glad the photos turned out exactly how I envisioned it!

Can't wait to share part 2 with you all, for now enjoy your Friday afternoon!

The greatest joy in the world is to love and be loved

I can't get over how amazing & super adorable these 2 girls are! When I first found out about them I stalked their IG + blog till' wee hours! They have so much character and boldness- how I wish more people (including me!) are more carefree with how we dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
How Two Live is a personal style blog of two sisters, Stef and Jess, from Melboune, Australia. The blog started when Stef, an RMIT student relocated to Paris to study, but the outfit collab between the two sisters began when they're reunited back in Melbourne. The girls are known for their quirky, fun and colorful outfits, no one can rock a baby doll's head necklace better than they do! (wait I've never actually seen anyone wears a baby doll head ever!) They're also a big supporter of Australian brand, often spotted rocking outfits from some of Australia's best designers such as Alice McCall, Shakuhachi and Stylestalker.

They're the envy of most girls, I mean who wouldn't want to play dress up, share outfits and travel the world with someone who's been there all your life, know everything about you and regardless of the situation will never turn their back on you? And... word on the street the girls might open their own fashion store "House of Dadon" once completing their studies. I definitely can't wait for that one!

"Having a sister is like having a bestfriend you can't get rid of.
You know whatever you do they'll always be there."

Topshop Cut Out Print Dress

Dress: Top Shop
Heels: Forever 21
Clutch: Boutique in Singapore

I bought this dress last year in Topshop Jakarta while I was visiting my family. I love everything about it, the prints, cut out & the skater style skirt. However, one thing that annoys me is whenever I bend down my gut would come out of the hole haha! I wore this outfit to a wedding and the whole time I had to sit up straight and suck my tummy in! Definitely need to start hitting the gym!!

P.S. The wedding was so beautiful, overlooking the Swan River in Perth. Congrats Putra & Natasha, can't wait for my babies to play with yours in the future ;)

It's Monday! Have a lovely week ahead! Be kind & don't forget to enter my giveaway here!

Lots and lots of love
